Throughout its long history the Vale school has always insisted on high standards of behaviour and achievement. The headteacher and all staff will continue to promote high standards by teaching positive behaviour to all pupils. All children, no matter what their creed, colour or ability, will be encouraged to do their best and to treat other people the way they, in turn, would like to be treated.

Everyone working at The Vale School plays an important part in making our children feel secure and happy and experienced staff devote a great deal of time and effort to the conscientious teaching of all pupils in their care. However, we cannot succeed alone and that is why we build our partnership with parents by giving information and by knitting the school into the fabric of the community. Children need to know that parents and teachers are in partnership. Working together we can help our children to become lifelong learners.
